Western Nights © 2008
| The word photograph is derived from Greek and means to write with light. In this case- actually painting with light. This was a midnight project with some fellow photographers. Other than the stars there was no light on this barn in the Tetons. The abandoned structure which represents human presence and transience was revealed by brushing it with light while I kept the shutter open on my camera. A nice contrast against the constant of western skies. |
