Shades of Sunset © 2000

This image of the Grand Canyon at sunset is what I call a Minds Eye Panorama™. I use this approach with selected scenes for a mind’s eye view. These panormas are about the way a human looks at a scene, instead of being locked in to the perspective of a particular lens or camera. The juxtaposition of the “seams” and variable perspectives are an artistic translation of my mind’s eye view of the scene and my interaction with the environment that I photographed.
