I'd been wanting to capture this view of this broad panorama of the red rocks with snow on them for ages. I had already scouted my location so I would be ready. The challenge is that the best light is at sunset. It only snows in Sedona infrequently and melts quickly. Snow started falling one afternoon and I immediately drove down to Sedona and made it to my pre-chosen vantage point to capture this scene. I shot three images and seamlessly assembled them together for this red rock sunset panorama.
