Impressions © 2008
| Although impressionist painting and the pictorialist era of photography always have some influence in my work, the conditions this day lent themselves to a more literal translation of impressionism to photography. The sun briefly broke through the fog around sunset. I ran to this spot and waited for the rapidly moving haze to provide the right combination of light and diffusion. |
