Most towns in Italy built their aqueducts above ground. This Tuscan village built theirs underground as a defensive strategy. I discovered the outlet for this ancient aqueduct and was fascinated by it. I made several trips here to figure out the best light, especially since the water changes color in different light. I chose a wide perspective to capture the feel of this compelling architecture.
